here is a befuddlement for you.

Muscovy duck...sitting on eggs ..... Incubated and hatched with zero help.

One of the ducklings (same one each time) has run away from mom twice now!

What insanity is this?

It found a small exit in the small nesting area that mom and other ducklings are happily staying in..... and ran away. Far away. Twice now.

Since when does such a thing happen?

Why is it not bonded?

Is mama fugly?

i gave in....Got a Cooper Morron been broody for a couple wks, nothing is working to break her so I stuck an AC egg and an Americauna egg under her.... We'll see...
