No pulled pork. Just felt like a long week. A week and a half and then I'm taking 3 days off to go try to find a deer to invite out of the cold this winter. He'll be the honored guest at a BBQ or two.

Chickie pile of 4 cochin chicks sleeping on my lap. I'm pretty sure 3 of the 4 are gonna grow out frizzled! The dark blue looks like it might stay smooth. Still to early to be sure though.

These are mule deer, so taste a bit different, but they are good if you take good care of the meat. I may get to go hunt an pronghorn as well. My wife is still learning to enjoy game meat, but I love it. Best all natural, free range, organic meat there is!

Oh ya. . . making me hungry.
I like to beat mine with the meat hammer. . coat it in seasoned flour then dip in egg milk mixture then cracker crumbs and fry in butter or shortening. Kinda like chicken fried steak. Mashed taters. . green beans and a biscuit with white gravy made from the drippings. That better be in heaven too. . Lol

I made summer sausage and bulk breakfast sausage out of some last year. This year there will be some jerky and probably some more sausage. I make waterfowl into summer sausage, and that's pretty good.
