Good morning/afternoon Pond dwellers!

We broke a record high temp for yesterday at 97 and we're on track to break another today if we hit 97. Bunch of folks crabbing about it, of course, but I don't mind it a bit!

Yep hot as Hades here too. And I still haven't mowed my yard lol. Need to do it before the weekend so guess I'll get with it here in a little bit.
But it's so hot!:hitwah

Y'all just need to come hang here in the "bowl" the rain cools it down and we don't get the steam.;)

so here is what we have done so far. . I have Windows that we will hinge to fold down and wire mesh to install for screens when open. There will be tin on the wall on the inside of the house part as well with insulation between. .
After reading about frostbite now I wonder if we don't need to think about installing some vents around the top? I don't know why but I guess I didn't think ducks needed as much ventilation as chickens. What do you guys think?

I think ducks need more... they produce more liquid. .. and they keep warm more easily.

I would keep about half of the wall opening up to the roofed run open for venting.
