Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

@BYC910 K, I'm going to install some Paint trays in the nest boxes with a piece of wood (5" to 6" wide) laying across the deep end. Chickens lay in the shallow part, egg rolls into the deep end, under the wood, they can't get to them.
I know you said you had trouble with videos, but this one is only 2 and a half minutes.
This guy put duct tape in the pan, i saw another that glued indoor/outdoor carpet into the pan. I think I'll do the carpet.

.
That not a bad ideal at all . He's cutting laying space quite a bit . I have two nesting boxes that came out of a laying house that were set up roll away to a conveyer belt . I'll have to build catch boxes . I wouldn't worry to much about
carpet . But I would cushion the back and bottom of the paint well . And I don't care for lifting out the board . I would hinge a lid over the collecting part of the box . Mine have a thick plastic mat kinda like Astroturf only the grass blades are super thick .

Sugar quit sitting, I just couldn't dispose of the eggs...

Course ya couldn't ;) It's a little cutie though, I must admit :)

Thanks... be cuter once it's fluffed out... poor thing had too much liquid still in the egg... went to check it, had a nice huge external pip, and tons of foamy goo coming out cuz it was blowing bubbles in it... :/
Almost didn't make it... have 2 more... :fl
