Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

We have some that run around the house too, my neighbor saw a whole family of them one day. Bunch of little ones! I hate to wake up in the morning and smell that smell! Ugh.

I told hubby to toss the trap that one got caught in, but i think he soaked it in something and finally got the smell off it.
They eat more grubs than anything else . I don't mind them for that reason .But BIL says they will sit in front of a bee hive and eat the bees as they come out early morning

Our meat chicken friends (bet they'd love that I am referring to them that way) lost 30+ birds on one night to skunks. Apparently they will just kill to kill.
They will kill anything they can handle if their food supply is low and adapt to whatever live food they can handle. But for them to just kill and kill chickens I've never heard of them doing that here . I do know that a rabid skunk will attack anything .The one that sprayed my truck was . It was spinning circles in the road .

Too my truck up to the shop today.... My pitman arm was ready to fall off.... Then if loose my steering.
So I went to the shop and used their hoist...I figure in going up there enough to work on stuff for them that they could let me use their hoist.
Anyways I had a new pitman arm here..... So I took it... Compared it to a new one from NAPA.... Looked the same.
Put it on and my steering wheel was 90 degrees off.....
So I took it off and looked.... It was slightly indexed different..... Very slight.
Guess a pitman arm from a 1997 GMC won't fit a 2000.... Oh well I had to buy a new one.
All fixed now.
