Only a few sub-freezing nights so far, but enough to plug the waterers in. Yesterday's high was probably only 35°, but I saw some 50's in the forecast soon.

English was my 2nd favorite class in h.s; right behind phys. ed. Old habits are hard to break, to say nothing of having a couple of grandparents who taught school at one level or another.

I never knew my grandparents, they died long before I came along. But while my mother was a stickler for proper grammar and correct spelling, she is extremely dyslexic and left handed (which you wouldn't think is a big deal except I'm right handed). She can write page after page in cursive without missing a beat but you have to hold it up to a mirror to read it. Her trying to teach me to sew using patterns was a disaster....It's no one wonder I'm so bass akward... :gig
