why thanky, thanky kindly.

But there is no way I could have done as nice as that article Banta posted.

I am afraid I would have said to look her over, then rip everything out, line them up, and look at them too. :lau

finally got back from the visit with the Oncologist.... two and a half hours....:th

UC San Diego Hospital.... Is a teaching hospital... My doc is the director of the department... He had an intern in tow.

Surgery will be done by robot.... Because of my weight they wont do a standard incision because of the risk of infection. I have had edema in my lower leggs now for a couple of years. Because of that he wont be taking the lymph nodes. He said if he removes them my legs will just get worse.

Blood pressure was really bad this time... so he wants me to get some more tests before he operates.... CT scan to get a really good look at my adominal area... Then I have to get approval from a Cardiologist for surgery.

VEry very nice man.... Very very nice intern too...

wowsers.

So, more excitement than we wanted... but good people to hold your hand and help walk ya through. Sound like they know what they are doing too. So very good.

@orrpeople :hugs one truly horrid day.

Well - home.
Son locked birds up, but E and I did our rat trap date (caught 2 last night!). While setting traps in one of the runs, I couldn't find one of Rav's AC cockerels... but saw lots of black feathers - oh dear. He was nowhere to be found, and his group wasn't in the free range rotation, so he wasn't out during the day! Ever try finding a small black cockerel at night?
E spotted something on the top of the run... small black eyes. Sure enough, he had somehow squeezed himself out of the gate and gotten tangled in a piece of welded wire I had thrown up there. It took a bit of doing, but I managed to set him free. He yelled the whole time, but was quite relieved to be back with his buddies inside!
A happy ending to a very odd day.
