Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

Well pond scum, I'll catch you all later. I'm off to buy wood for the quail apartments and a new rabbit hutch (I didn't end up going yesterday). Maybe I'll even get the quail apartments partially built today. Talk to you all later!

Good luck! :frow

Time for me to go try to thaw some ice. :hmm

Did everyone know that Teflon coated light bulbs are HIGHLY toxic to chickens ? Sure learned something today.
I didn't even know they used Teflon on bulbs:hmm

Yeah, Teflon is no good for birds, nor are any of the 'shatter-proof' coatings on any bulbs. They give off fumes that kill birds quick. I only know because it's a widely known thing in the parrot community. Once you get a parrot, you throw out any Teflon pans or you have a dead parrot.
This I knew since I've had parakeets and cockatiels. I also knew that some hair dryers were toxic because of the Teflon thing... But I didn't know it affected poultry the same way. So should we be checking our hair dryers before we use them on our birds?

It wouldn't be so bad if it weren't for the fact that she has been constant trouble. He broke up with her 3 times in two years for cheating. Last time was two days after he gave her a ring and proposed, she said yes, then he caught her cheating. Took her back in September, non of us knew.
So many mixed emotions right now and don't think there's an emoji for it!

This one has a lot of sad childhood issues. But she has learned to use it to get what she wants. And Zack has a heart for the mistreated and that's a good thing,he just wants to make a better life for her. But she's a user, and once she's used up all you have she turns on you. I'm afraid we're all in for a rough go with this one.
Oh man. :hugs:hugs:hugs:hugs
Our boys girlfriend is the same way. Remember my whole story he didn't go to collage cause he had to stay and take care of her. . we let her live with us for a while and then they finally got an apartment?

Ya. They broke up over New year's. She's been cheating. Boy is heart broken. Girl claims she's wanted to break up for a year now :barnie
Well guess since she had nowhere else to go it was just more convenient
To use him. :he
I knew she was trouble. But he had to see for himself.
I totally figured would be in the same situation your in right now I've been dreading it. Sorry to hear that Lisa:hugs

Yep, we let her move in three years ago, before they were an item, she pulled some really bad stuff here, drug me through the ringer. Now she's all sunshine and lollypops as if nothing happened. I hate when people do that. I mean, just acknowledge the wrong doing and then it's a bit easier to move forward...:(

Good point! Yes, probably should use the only in well ventilated areas? Or maybe not at all?
