So since the ko shamo pullet has been healing up, I decided to try a gentle reintroduction of her and the cockerel. I let them both out to 'free range' in the garage. NOPE. She is a scrapper. Went at him immediately, and he went right back at her. Like a full on rooster fight. Had to split them up pretty quick. Now they're in two pens adjacent to each other, and they are posturing through the wire like two roosters that want to fight. I know they're a game breed but wow.

I had to read back quite a ways 'cause I was curious what breed pair you ordered. lol Ko Shomo are pretty cool! Did you post pics?

I haven't yet, actually, lol. I had to wait for the pullet to heal up. Not sure how far back you read, but the cockerel attacked her in shipping, due to them having not actually lived together before being shipped and they were put together in a shipping box as a means of introducing them to one another.

I really should get some pictures now that she's mostly healed up.

I'll be checking in. I can never quite keep up with this thread but I like to sit on tbe bank sometimes cause it's so interesting(and naughty) and the company congenial.

Did ya see I tagged you about a question steven mazzo has. We think Lucky is about to lay an egg maybe?
