That's great! My Favorite response for old age:

And speaking of Easter, I hope to get to visit the Tadpole, but will likely be tomorrow instead of Sunday. Sunday is call duck hatch day.
Have a Happy Easter, Pondies!

The memories. Last time I crossed that bridge was going to my brother's place in Indian River and then south to Keego Harbor to settle some paperwork after my dad's passing. That was almost 30 yrs ago. DH was born and raised in lower WI and never been across the bridge. I would love to see it one more time. We tried last fall but didn't make it. Maybe try again when the snow finally melts. Thanks for posting the pic. Lots of memories from long ago.
That is so cool. I only got half way through where he's talking about the with pines in his wood lot before my phone started acting up...At one point I was fascinated about farming with horses. I was a frequent visitor of the Rural Heratige website.... every once and a while I come across a video that reminds me of those days....
Here is a farmer farming his land with Percherons.... Its a long video but very pleasant to watch

There is a guy up here that still logs with a team. He makes a good living doing jobs for folks that need some trees took out in an area that is environmentally sensitive or they just don't want torn up by heavy equipment, or just isn't room for it.At one point I was fascinated about farming with horses.
