Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

Can I come help plant? I really could use some diet therapy. We have snow on the ground with another 5-8” of the stuff predicted for Sunday.
I would love some help planting! Hubby can't dig because it aggravates his kidney stones and he pees blood. Plus he dislikes getting his hands dirty. I have a spare room available!

Same here. I fought with netting long enough. Little more expense, but worth it in saved time and aggravation!

Aggravation is right! My run has welded wire over the top, with a tarp over that, so it's about as secure as it gets & stays mostly dry.
However the chicken yard attached to it hasn't had a cover all these years, but I watched a hawk devouring one of my hens a couple weeks ago, & decided it was time. The yard's roughly 25' square, so a bit large for a solid covering. DW & I wrestled with a 50'x50' net this past weekend. If it weren't for her, I'd have wadded it up & struck a match to it! What a pain! If I ever do another one, I'll use 4' widths & overlap the edges.

Good for DW! Glad she helped you out. :clap

I believe 'Al' has done too much pie resulting in oxygen deprivation to the brain.

"done" pie?? WHAT do you do to pie???

I eat pie.

Also... I breathe between bites so no oxygen deprivation here. Again... maybe someone needs to teach you how to eat pie. :old
