Yeah... there is some discussion that maybe the solid black ones will have better color as adults... or that maybe it is just a breeding line thing

The end tables are glass and metal , so no carbon to date. Idk whose idea those were, the glass is a dust magnet.

HellifIknow! I still have some week-old bantam cochins, so hopefully they will take it in.
I can get more eggs from her, or there's a local gal with some bantam EEs, I might get eggs in trade.

I need to go out and camp outside the scary pen to avoid the sequel to last night... But we now have mosquitoes! They must have just hatched. Grr. Thankfully, mosquito season is a short one here. The heat takes them out in June.

My little Am egg quit.
I figured with this much clear fluid, there was no way it could hatch, but it made it pretty far! Day 19.
