Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

How come you are opening the bator during hatching? Just wondering...
With all this rainy weather we’ve had the outside humidity is around 80-90% and inside the bator is around 95% or so, my best hatches have been in the 60-70s so I’ve been trying to let some of the excess out, some of those ducklings hatched last night and are still wet so I’ve been trying to help them dry. It’s just too humid in there.

yeah... way too humid.

Ah well... we do what we can.

still a good hatch, especially considering the super high humidity.

I think high humidity results in more funky feet... tell us how their feet are once they dry off.

You could be my child - maybe even my grandchild. I was an early starter. :lau
I started a bit late.

Feel a bit sad that I started so late... I enjoyed knowing great-grands... and none of my kids got to know theirs.

Sure am proud of my kids.... even when I wanna smack them upside the head so hard it makes them reel. (not that I can do that anymore. .... blasted kids keep getting bigger and stronger and I keep getting older and more arthritic)

I always wanted programmable robot children.... not what I got. .... but they are pretty awesome, even though they don't always do things the way I think they should. :rant

Wow, that is some high humidity. It has been soggy here. I have mushrooms growing in the flower beds!
