Mine is strange. He does not over mate his hen. I've had the pair for awhile and he didnt seem that bad.he never bothers my chickens either. Just my goslings..

Little brat. I wouldn't stand for something bothering my geese either, they're my babies. But I don't think I'm going to have to worry about that going forward because I hatched emus, and my male's best friend is a goose. Woe to the bird that harasses my emu's geese when he's full grown.

Yes. None local at all. I hatched these but my incubator took a poo.. I think I'll try what I have and then if it comes down to it bargain with my husband lmao..

I think I'm going to research it a bit more to make sure I know what I'm doing.

That's cool. I've never met anyone on these forums so close lol

I love igo. We thought about buying a house out there but it was just to far of a commute for my husband to get to work.
My first teaching job was at Evergreen in Cottonwood! I'm sure if we play the "I know this person, do you know them?" game, we'd end up as second cousins or something! :) Glad you found the Pond - good people here.

That's what I thought with my geese. My drake is about the size of a call and my gander is triple his size. Try as he might he couldn't get the drake off the gosling. Glad I was out there to see what happened. My poor babies!

That is crazy!!! I went to evergreen from kindergarten to 8th grade. Cottonwood is pretty small though so it's hard to not know someone lol

I can't relate. My kids only sweetly ask for new clothes when the ones they have look like rags.

Spouse wears nicer clothes.

The Princess wears far nicer clothes than me. She always looks nice. Me - blue jeans and flannel in the winter, blue jeans and short sleeves in the summer. I wear my clothes until they are threadbare. If necessary I will move up to slacks and a dress shirt. No more suits and ties for me. I am to be buried in blue jeans and a flannel shirt.

Still not super dark, but getting there! (A comparison pic) My blue Marans have begun laying!

I like it! I love jeans and a good, comfy, well-broken-in, flannel shirt.
I must confess to being a bit of a shopper... but I'm not much of a "buyer". I will go through racks and racks of clothes, touch just about everything, and walk out empty-handed. If I'm actually going to purchase something, I'll check second hand stores first. :)

Spouse had to toss my old carhartts. Said I wasn't allowed to wear them in public. Got upset that I kept wearing them. sure they were covered with battery acid holes... but there were zero holes in the seat or the crotch... so I fail to see the problem.

Carhartts are way better than jeans.... almost all I wear... except pajama bottoms. But now I have 2 nice new Carhartts. ... Spouse made me.
