Our new names... Pond Pudgies. Hopefully we can shed that by spring.
Spring, heck, I'll do it in a matter of weeks. It's only a couple of pounds here, and I really don't need to lose the weight, but the pain is an aggravation.

I know it will be back. It was a fair warning not to let my guard down, which I was starting to do. I had the bachelors out all day yesterday. Maybe they attracted his attention, but he didn’t take any. Everyone will stay locked up again.
Luckily, the yard bird brother joined the bachelors yesterday and slept in their pen, so only the one bird was out this morning.

YAAAAAY!!!!Kid made it home!!!
He got standby, eventhough the flight was delayed more than 30 min... still got him to home by 7:40am.. in time for us run next door for church at 8.
Found two wooly bear caterpillars today one appears dead, the other is moving. Why are they out when it's been so cold? They love to be on the driveway and I always scoop them up. Years and years ago, my father ran over my son's favorite - he called Kimmy.
I thought maybe we could rescue him but, all his internal fluids had run out. Couldn't find another so we couldn't do a transfusion. Thanks to that my son stopped believing I was a miracle worker.I got downgraded to ordinary human

I needed to lockdown some BCM eggs before i head out, so after I removed the clears, i was opening a questionable egg. Turned out to be early quitter, but then I could hear the chickens raising hell outside, so I went out and saw a hawk fly off. He was having dinner on one of my yard bird cockerels, right there in my yard! Found the kill spot, close to the pens, he only carried him maybe 30 yards. It was a rooster I didn’t need, but sure hate to see them go that way.
At least I know to leave the ducks locked up today. I was debating leaving them out while I was gone today.
Sorry this is so long.. I was in bed sick all day yesterday.. fever is gone this morning but still caughing and stuffy.. i can deal with that tho..
Its cold this morning and looks like it might rain. I gotta head to town in a bit for last minute items for our thanksgiving get togethers this wkend.. I just hope the rain holds off till im home again...

I've been dealing with chronic planters warts..... I'm on third round of cut and burn..... if they still aren't gone after the 1st of the year the doctor will go in and dig serious cutting......I have a compromised immune system and the warts just won't go away .
Yeah....I think my left foot is now clear of warts...... but still dealing with 7 deeply embedded into my right foot.
I've been treating these since July..... my podiatrist says there are 500 plus types of warts and some Are almost impossible to get rid of.
So after the first of the year if they aren't gone she's gonna go deep with the cut.... So far is all been shallow.....

My friend Glenn is bringing a tent blind for me to sit in.
Although we are supposed too....i be in the 30's today and the next few days. Which is plenty warm to sit in a tree.
But if I can set up a Warm place to sit I can spend more time out there..... catch up on some reading.
I started thinking too.. if I set up a couple of routers I think I could bounce wifi out there.
