Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

But it would be fun! We could go sledding, and ice skating, and cross-country skiing, and drive around on the lake and make snowmen! It's supposed to be nice and warm for the next few weeks if the weather-guessers have a clue as to what they're talking about.

If they do, and you can spare a few, could you send them this way. Our's stick their heads out the nearest window and call for rain if their faces get wet! The one I'll never forget was Feb. 15, 1958. While Mom & Dad were on the way to the hospital to have my little brother, I was shoveling 17" of "variable cloudiness" off the sidewalk.

Fairly uneventful New Year's Eve here and plenty of daughter drama today (pretty sure we all didn't get enough sleep)...
@Alaskan - just experienced the same type of theater - when did they get recliners with heat? ?? Tells you how long it's been since I've been to see a movie! We saw Poppins. I loved it. The man two chairs down was snoring.
I think I've been in a movie theater once since I saw Dances With Wolves in one. Not paying that kind of $$ when I can see it free a bit later.

Are hotels supposed to make your bed and give you fresh towels?

I thought so... but it has been a while.
,
No working elevators, a bunch of furniture in the hall, spackled spots on the walls, not a single hook or coat hanger..

Glad the rooms don't cost much.... and are quiet.
When I went to see my brother in the Cancer Center, I stayed overnight in a hotel that deals exclusively with families of patients there (maybe the whole hospital; not sure). Good as any place I've ever been in, & better than most. Free eats 24/7, full breakfast, & only $40/room. It's a non-profit, funded solely by donations.

Young Tackle is a bit more mobile today. She's a long way from fit, but she stands and hobbles from A to B steadying herself with her wings. It's very hard to watch.
She's been calling for Cillin (her rooster) a lot more and he's been round and given her the imprint inspection, (head right beside Tackle's head and perfectly still for maybe 20 seconds).
Tackle has decided the best resting place and safest spot is under my feet underneath the computer desk.:loveShe sort of hobbles around under there with occasional ventures a couple of feet away and back. I had to stop her sister Mel from having a few bully pecks; they've never got on.
I think Gloria the vet is back tomorrow and hopefully I can get her to have a look at Tackle early evening.

No sleeping... dudes!

I went pee right before the movie, and still almost exploded! Made it one hour before having to get up to make a pee break.

We were watching AQUAMAN!! Constant water, water noises, rushing water.... good grief!!! This is why I like watching movies at home... the pause button!

Sounds logical. :pop
:lau

Did you enjoy the movie, what you saw of it in between pee breaks? :D
Usually people are complaining about the opposite.:lol:
Ikr? Im usually overrun with roos..:gig
Getting ready to drive to Iron Mountain this morning...... Get my feet cut up..... Not sure if I will have a bunch of stitches or what.... But I know I won't be walking for a few days....
Good luck Phil.. :fl
Thank you for fixing your 83 year old neighbor's car. You are one of the good guys for sure:yesss:

Exactly! The only times I've been to movies in theaters have been social occasions - which makes almost no sense since you can't exactly be social during a movie! :idunno
