My DH would never survive w/o his DW and HER Amazon Prime!!!I have an air wrench, which should be about the same deal, I think, but no clue how I'd make it work with a standard "L" shaped wrench. I got online looking for something that I could put some torque to. Found one that will take a 3/8" ratchet handle, and another with two Allen wrench bits, one of which will supply a lot of torque; should be delivered Tuesday, so we'll see. How did I ever survive w/o Amazon Prime?
Now that reminds me that I'm a mite peckish. I may just have to nip down the track and see if the baker chaps have got anything tasty.Cookies..

Totally enjoyed it, very good read. I've been studying their vocals more in depth, this adds an entire new layer of their communication to think about. I love an inquiring mind. Thank you!Well, if I don't bring peoples attention to this it won't get read so....

No they haven't and even worse, I've been reading a lot about 'floaters' which in my circles means something rather different.![]()
Where's @LittleLakePhil when I need him?
Trying to change the oil & filter in my Polaris ATV & can't get the drain plug to turn out. Takes a 6mm Allen wrench, which I have, but no telling how long it's been since it's been removed. I bought the machine used & only use it sproradically; haven't changed it myself. Not sure how much pressure it'll take, but I definitely need more torque than what I'm getting with an adjustable wrench handle on the end of the allen wrench. Why does everything I try to do have to turn into a major production?![]()
I have a can of penetrating oil I was thinking about using. Only thing stopping me is that the threads are up, not down; gravity would be working against me, just like on a truck or car.The floaters I was talking about were the bits inside your eye... it looks like lint or dust. They are little bits that float about in the eye jelly inside your eye ball. Those people with poor vision tend to have more floaters. Usually they are small and off to the side, so do not interfere with vision.
Have you tried to spray the bolt? I found a WD-40 I think mixed with silicone and I am not sure what else... it is specifically for rusty bike chains and rusted up frozen tight bolts.
You squirt it onto stuck bolts and wait a day, then try again to unscrew.
Pretty snazzy stuff.
Ah but Capilary action will draw the WD 4O in along the threads.... at a molecular level. Caplilary action is what makes a wick work.I have a can of penetrating oil I was thinking about using. Got just enough time before dark to give it a shot.Ah but Capilary action will draw the WD 4O in along the threads.... at a molecular level. Caplilary action is what makes a wick work.
It also can cause strange leak locations under roofs.... Water Wicks under and finds a location to get out .... Viola right on the top of your head.
For what its worth WD 40 was invented here in the 1950s The formula is kept a secret therefore has never been patented... Developed for The space race part of which started right here in San Diego
I worked on drawings that were first started in the thirties....
