Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

He prefers it not so hot... So do I.

:lau I need to be here more

Thank you - that was full out laugh worthy. I failed my first driving test - poor speed control - I drove too slow. On the next test I had 3 inspectors in the car as two were learning the route. In my nervousness I backed on to that 'curb' doing a K turn, but they laughed and still passed me. One month later I lost my license for speeding. :idunno
I lost mine for not having my glasses on at 17 didn't even know it Paid the ticket .Didn't get a renewal notice in the mail that is how I found out.We tn that is did not have the point system back then.Secound test just like the first test around the triangle. Only that the examiner was a young lady .She yelled at me for using my left foot on the break pedal. Told me I knew better .Passed me ,then asked if Ihad driven myself to the testing center.I said yes .She just laughed.I got away with a lot .But it was a really different time then .Iike Penny, we were driving all over the place without a license.Starting at 12 .
Since we’re feeling all warm & fuzzy can I just say, nothing says ‘Happy Late Valentine’s Day’ like flowers & Dirt. :love

Signal? You had signals?
My first car 52 chevy deluxe didn't have any ,when did they start having more than one tail light .and brake lights ?
I had no idea failing the first try (or many more), was so common.

I showed up, took it, passed, was done.

But I do remember that I had 3 tries to parallel park, and as long as i didn't hit the cones, i could still pass the test, even if the parking job was horrid.

And yeah, i couldn't parallel.
Farm boy ?my kids passed both written and driving first time.Being taught how to be very polite, had a lot to do with it.I remember hearing that southerners were the most polite people in the country, back then .I thought yea cause you got a belt for being rude .

Ol’ Meatballs back legs just don’t work like they used to. I was looking at having to put him down, but in a desperate bid to buy him a few more months I bought him a doggy stroller & a backpack. Now he rides in style. 🤣

Please send Beau out here. Me & Meat can ride on HIS back! Tell him he can sleep on my bed.
