Not to mention the Plastics industry... Lubricants different kinds of solvents Even Vasaline.the real cost is going to be to oil related small businesses. Many were wiped out in 82 and even more are operating in a leveraged situation now and the banks are going to be viewing their assets far differently now, rewriting loan contracts or denying them flat out. Small suppliers locked into higher priced per gal contracts, wild caters, etc. just won't survive. That's the immediate damage. Further out is what the Opec members come up with to counter the situation and the effect that does to the world markets and ultimately to us. Oil reaches far further than the gas pump. We have to remember that even many of the parts of those pumps are made from oil.
My girlfriend works at a bank.... im kinda thankful they aren't letting anyone in at the momentOur bank doesn't allow anyone inside. Have to use drive up area. I don't have a car. Feel ridiculous standing there and hoping I don't get run over.
9 this birthdayDIL and the kids have basically been here for a month. There hasn’t been a dull moment around here, that’s for sure! That little boy we have here is a ray of sunshine, and his baby sister (7 months) has Grampa wrapped around her little finger. She absolutely lights up whenever she sees him.
How old is your granddaughter? She sounds like a fun kid!
I love the fact they call electric nonpoluting .Coal fired generators make a lot of the electricity. And all kinds of pollutionMy brother has a Tesla - doesn't need gas but, sure likes to run up an electric bill charging it.
Of all the people I know you are the most compermized .And would good if you stayed very isolated till this thing blows over.Just reading about a preacher that said god is stronger than covid19 .He just died from the virus .Hes was right ,but god has to dicide to intervene. A very religious friend of mine ,told me god gave us intelligence. It's up to us to use it. My question is why did the preacher not know that ?My girlfriend works at a bank.... im kinda thankful they aren't letting anyone in at the moment
In my opinion, that shows arrogance on that preacher’s part. Kind of like the guy sitting on his roof during a flood, praying for God to save him. Pretty soon, someone came along in a raft and offered to help. The guy said, “No thank you, God will save me.” A while later, as the floodwaters rose, two men in a boat came by, again offering help. Again the guy refused their help, saying “I have asked God to save me, and I believe He will.” The floodwaters kept rising, the guy kept praying. At the last minute, a helicopter appeared and offered to rescue him. For a third time, he declined, saying he’d asked God to save him and would wait for that. The floodwaters overcame the man and he drowned. When he go to Heaven he said, “God - I asked you and asked you to save me. I believed in you. Why didn’t you save me?” God said, “I sent you a raft, a boat and a helicopter. What more did you want?”Just reading about a preacher that said god is stronger than covid19 .He just died from the virus .Hes was right ,but god has to dicide to intervene. God has sent us a raft, a boat and a helicopter too. Just like the man that refused the help that God sent him, HE sends us what we need and then leaves it up to us to choose whether or not to accept and use it (free will). Who knows what was in that minister's mind but it certainly wasn't humility. Definitely pride and ???? Problem is he wasn't on that rooftop alone and last I heard 11 of his congregation also succumbed. In my opinion, that shows arrogance on that preacher’s part.
