I’m afraid our plans have been canceled as well. Our friends’ son (who lives in the cabin next door, but shares meals with them) got tested on Wednesday - after he got sick, two days after a coworker tested positive.... If his test is positive, we’re for sure staying home.

Ack about the friend's son with possible covid.

@Alaskan PS - were you affected at all by the earthquake at Sand Point? I heard Homer residents were alerted and told to get to higher ground.

Nope, huge let down! The first place that the "tsunami" hit.... well... I think they said it was 11 inches tall. No joke... a great big nada.

And Homer was way down the line... I think none of the other places in its path saw anything at all. There was nothing here.

However, the first place (blanking on where the "tsunami" hit first), didn't communicate the nothing? Or they thought still maybe???

Whatever, EVERYONE evacuated from the spit. Lots of people.

Still perfectly fine... so odd... Just a touch of headache, swollen lymph nodes, touch of sore throat... no excitement.

Finally turned that crummy old ISP gateway into a frizbee and have a nice new 21st century version router all up and functioning and everything talking to everything

Yeah... as to masks.

Gotta say... I am pretty unexcited about them....

The infected nurse had gloves on, had a mask on... I still got infected.

And... I don't really want to get tested.... I am not coughing, so maybe i wouldn't test positive... but I would fully contaminate the car.

I like, no, I LOVE this!

I’m sure having people bring food to your door & not having to clean it up is nice, but get tested anyway. The car can be cleaned & you don’t have to tell anyone the results (especially your sister or the person feeding you.) Just do it.

I don't think so. I think you can test positive while still asymptomatic, but what do I know. Ask the testing people.

You can. You don't have to have symptoms to test positive, if you're a carrier.

Started feeling a bit funky Friday night.

But...but....but... I am still in that "I feel like I am about to come down with something" stage verses full on sick.

I have no idea... i will think about for another day or 2.. see what happens.
