Happy 2022 Pond family!

We made it to midnight (I was actually up till about 1:30). Lots of fireworks in earshot this year. A few even visible from my front porch. Not sure where they were coming from.

Good Morning, Pond!
A beautiful, sunny, clear day today. Currently -17, but will warm up to a “high” of -9 today. Tomorrow will be better with temps above zero for a few days. As DH left the house this morning, he called the dog to come with him and Ruger just stood there and looked at him like, “Uh, no”. Ruger is now curled up comfortably on the carpet by my chair.

I didn't make it to midnight - had to gracefully excuse myself from my guests and go to bed because of some sinus issues. E stayed up with everyone (just a small group this year) and I did hear them count down - and the neighborhood noise - at midnight.

Morning Pond hope all are happy it is 2021 mine went in the toilet. Trying to schedule covid booster for 3 people ..
Oh have to do it online scheduler .. Thinks over 4 hours between us can I shoot rite aid ? Please the sign can die

Sinus better now?

A little bit. Ran this morning in the cold (for us, anyway - about 35*) and noticed I wasn't quite my normal self. Not that I always have good runs - sometimes they're terrible even when I'm 100%

So, I'll take it easy today - do some reading, computer stuff, etc.

Good morning! We're supposed to be seeing some precipitation later in the day. The last couple of days have been really beautiful - 50's clear and sunny. If I were queen of the weather, this is how I would "do" winter...rain/light snow for a while, clear for a while, repeat.
