Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

Good morning pond. 20° here this morning. It's been a stressful week this past week. Mostly just kids being stressed and frustrated over everything that's going on. DS is in a panic over all state auditions because his clarinets are squeaking a lot. I got a quick fix done to one yesterday but it's not perfect. They didn't have any rentals available to just swap it out so it'll have to do. He made districts in Swim so he can stop fussing over that one. He said he's falling behind in his homework so he's stressing over that and his wisdom teeth are coming out on Friday. Of course they're calling for ice Thursday night and snow Friday morning so we'll have to drive down the mountain in all that. I'm praying we don't get it. DD woke up with a sore throat, headache and sniffles again. We just can't seem to purge sickness from our house. That and her back is still bothering her. She's been going to the chiropractor twice a week for 3-4 weeks now, trying to fix it. DH is back in school, his last semester for his associates degree. He had to quit his job in order to keep his classes. Long story short, Good worked a miracle and got him in an IT job that will give him experience AND let him finish his degree. I have a massive stack of saddles that need finished but keep not having time to work on them. Sorry for the rant. I need a vacation on a tropical beach alone for a few weeks :/

My massive pile of unsewn saddles lol

Oh my, you are busy! I can relate to stress..but you have your plate full right now. It seems to happen once on a while in life doesn't it? And guess what? You never stop stressing over your kids even after their out. I'm worried over one son in particular right now and a son in law. So in law isn't handling covid real well. Oxygen keeps dropping. Haven't heard yet this morning. Anyway, you wrote this post yesterday. Hope you're feeling less stress and a bit more relaxed. And... saddles?

Good morning. They had said this big storm was going to hit the Rockies, go through the Midwest and then to the east. Didn't see any moisture showing on my app. Well...we got snow! :wee You can see the tire tracks if my son's van. He was able to back out if the area ge parks in. Not as much as we got in December, but we'll take it. :frow

Oh, I hope everyone recovers ok and everything ends up being ok! I'm a little less stressed today but a neighbor of mine asked me to do a big project for her so I have the Cricut running, cutting out iron-on stuff for a bunch of t-shirts. And saddles as in hen saddles...

I have to try to keep up with demand! I sold about 1900 saddles just last year lol.

Here's one of the t-shirts that my neighbor asked me to make for her. I guess it's her grand daughter's birthday that day so she wants a shirt for everyone. Her grand daughter will have gold lettering instead of white and on the back it'll say "and it's my birthday too!"
