I know! I feel like every single time I get connected to one, it's a guy. But that's kinda accurate in life too.

I’ve only had females. How loud is a quail crow?

Not loud at all! Like I have neighbors super close and they've never even heard it.

All of my duck hens that survived this winter (bad year with foxes and hawks for me) have been broody except 1.
2 girls sat together, they have 3 ducklings a little over a month old.
I have another raising 8 ducklings, 4 of hers, 4 from a hen I lost.
Another raising 3
And another raising 3.
Yesterday my chocolate came off the nest with 6!
One grey left nesting. Due any day.
And I kept 2 from an incubator hatch.

This doesn’t even mention chickens! They haven’t been as prolific yet. Just a few chicken chicks so far.

Good Morning, Pond!
Another beautiful day on my lily pad. So much to do before Camp next week and so little time… After spending several hours in the garden for two days in a row, I have a few muscles that are asking me what in the world I was thinking. Oh well, they’ll get over it.
