How do you keep those cute tiny things from being eaten by raptors?

It’s not easy! I lost 3 a few weeks ago, so I locked the whole crew up for about a week. But I love letting them out in the yard/grass. They can fly, plus I have plenty of mixed chicks running around (bait lol) And flock master George is still alive, he’s the best! The chickens alert quickly, and they all run for cover.

(We also took out 3 foxes and a few raccoons and possums this spring!)

I had FANTASIZED that I would be able to free range my LARGE geese all summer and fall...

But an eagle killed one, so they are now mostly locked up.

They are eating me out of house and home, being locked up most of the time...
