I can see movement on at least 6 of my eggs. the others were harder to tell, but there was definitely something in there.

There was one that had some veins, but on the opposite side of the egg there was a tiny black spot. I suspect it might be a dead egg. Ill give it a few more days.

Some of them have larger air pockets than others. Is this OK?
Congrats on the wigglers

oh my..... Wht you miss when your internet gets messed up for a few days. I'm Back yes some eggs will have larger air cells then others that isnt really anything to worry about unless you have really small air cells in eggs that are developing. congrats on the wiggelers you guys. I have a duck egg in my fixer uper bator to test it. day 4 today trying to wait a little longer before candling...... only 24 more days woooo.

Lock down is day after tomorrow!! Im so excited!!
day 7 of my first ever duck incubation only one has suvived.... well not really survived but only one was fertile but development in that one is looking great only 21 more days and hopefully i will have a new addition to the family.

I candled last night to check all eggs because tomorrow is lockdown and i dont want any bad eggs....but there does seem to still be lots of room in there for growth. Should i wait on lockdown? or should I go ahead. Tomorrow is day 18.

So how do you KNOW they are about to hatch? Mine are rocking like mad. Sometimes they jerk strongly. One egg rolled.

I really wish i could know because I dont want to go to work if they are going tos tart hatching in the next few hours!!

It is the end of day 19, 8:52pm here.

Its been about 48 hours since the rocking started...can you hear peeping inside the incubator? I dont know if its too thick to hear through, its a Hovabator with the 2 windows.
