Well last night was HORRIBLE if you lived in AR

Us too. Thanks for the heads up. Here anymore when they say "severe storms" nobody pays much attention, cause half the time they miss us. The last one didn't though, so I'll go out and get some more dry firewood...Storms are supposed to be coming in this afternoon...

Batesville , not to bad here, the biggest concern right now is the white river rising. I heard this morning that they are letting water out of some lake up river, not sure how that will affect us.

The forecast is calling for late in the day showers Saturday as well, I hope they are wrong about that , I have planted over 100 strawberry plants and I am afraid the roots are all going to die. The ground is completely saturated, so they are basically swimming in mud right now.

ell my strawberry plants were in pots in the chicken yard and the hail knocked holes in the pots...plus the glass killed the herbs in the window boxes. Did all the chopping for me

Yep, the weather radio started going off at about 1:45am. Flash flood warnings, severe storm warnings and tornado warnings. Finally gave up trying to sleep and just put on a pot of coffee. Up here near Hardy, the Spring River crested about 4 ft. higher than it did for the storms last month. What a mess.

We wanted to get the garden tilled again, but the ground hasn't even come close to drying out enough. I still have a trailer load of lumber waiting for good weather so that we can begin building our coop. HOPEFULLY next week will be dry enough.

I haven't seen this much rain sice we left New Orleans in 2000.
