Well this is freaky.

Around 500 birds, mostly red wing black birds and starlings, have died in Louisiana now. Perhaps there is some kind of disease spreading among these small birds.

Edited to correct myself... you were right, it was 500 in Louisiana. Six years ago, my husband and I lived in Point Coupee Parish, in the town of New Roads where the red-wing blackbirds and starlings died. That area is just full of life and is absolutely gorgeous. False River is there.

well, they found more dead birds in kentucky and fish in maryland and even brazil...Is anyone else concerned about this?? The news doesn't really seem the least bit concerned, almost like someone is hiding something...I'm freaking out!

This entire thing reeks of a cheesy conspiracy oriented B-movie, except that it's actually happening. I hope it's nothing significant, but something tells me otherwise.
