How is the egg doing? Guessing it is probably not developing, but thought I'de check!

Hello everyone. All stories come to an end - but unfortunately those ends aren't always 'happy ever after'...

I have incubated 'eggy' for a while now and haven't got any signs of life. During these last few days of my adventure, I hadn't really had the heat lamp on all the time. So, today I reluctantly turned the light off. I stood and stared at it. I felt like I let it down - even though there was nothing in there to let down. I tried, which is all that mattered. The odds were against me from the start

. My sister wanted me to crack it open, see what was inside. I denied that request and decided eggy needed a proper goodbye

. So I dug a little hole in my flower garden (which is really pretty and blooming at the moment) and put eggy in. I recovered the dirt and put a few flowers on top.
