This chick is about 3-4 weeks old and I am pretty sure this little guy is just that a guy anyone out there have any idea? His comb is more prominent and is slightly larger and tail feathers are different than the other wellsummer chick.

I'm not really sure, but the first thing I noticed was those thick legs, so maybe a cockerel.

I just got my wellies and they are 4 weeks today. I have done a lot of reading up on them. If it is a girl the V on their head will be very prominent and they will have all red on their chest not black. I think I see some black spotting in yours chest. I am going to say cockerel but please wait for others to respond too.

Also at 4 weeks mine dont have waddles started and your little guys are growing and turning a pinkish tint.

I hatched 6 wellsummers last year and 3 were boys, 3 were girls. I would say 100% that hes' a BOY. Looks just like my boys did. Yours has large legs and comb growth is quite pronounced for 4 weeks old.

Unless there are are some black feathers coming in on the breast that I can't see, my vote is pullet.
