I now have 6 Welsh Harlequins thanks to CityChicker. She was clearing out her big ducks so she could get bantams. Also, poor Bebe was killed by a hawk along with Uno my beloved mutt duck and I wanted to get new layers. It figures I was finally getting to full egg production when the hawk found us. Grrrrr.

The ducks have an aviary now. I gave up my herb garden to the ducks to make it.

Here are the new additions...

The drake is Butters. The girls are Bebe II and Lexus.

So I have 7 ducks total until I find Butters a home. I still have Chrissy...

When we went to the poultry show, my husband liked the welsh harlequins best. I'll have to show him your pictures... then maybe I can get some more ducks

I got a pair of golds from City Chicker too!! I'm going to keep the male so I can sell pure gold eggs!! I have them separated from the rest so they will breed true. Have you put your new ones with the others? How are they getting along? Even with two feet of snow mine can't tear themselves away from the fence with the new ones on the other side!

Since I have limited space, I integrated them. No fighting between the drakes, but Wendy and one of the girls (Lexus I think) have taken some shots at each other.

I am glad to see them settling in. Colorado is going to be the Welsh Harlequin capital of the world. LOL...

Do you already not have snow where you are? We have like 2 feet!!

We had a few inches but it melts pretty fast. Lots of wind.

Those goobers had so much trouble with the ramp, but I put some random stones around the pool and they got in for a swim today after I broke up the ice.

Wendy is still pretty ticked she has to share her run with the new kids...LOL. She was always the mellow one so this is surprising me. Shelley and Chrissy don't seemed to be bothered in the least.

Butters, like Tweak, is clueless...LOL
