My chicks are 5weeks old and from what I have read I may only have one hen but the chick in photo I’m not sure of , I hope it’s a she. The breeder said it’s welsumer but what I have read online I’m not sure because his eggs are all white not one brown. Thanks

In case anyone wanted to se more, I will have to get rid of all the beautiful roosters, my first Bach. And I spoke to the breeder and he says welsumer do lay white eggs because it’s a mix race. Can that be true?

Mix race? What does that even mean in chickens? Did he or you mean mixed breed? Either way, no, that is not true. He is lying to you and scamming you or just ignorant and doesn’t know. But either way, not true and you have a lot of NOT WELSUMMER cockerels.
