Welsummer. Both Roos or one cockerel and one pullet?

I ordered the Meyer Hatchery fry pan bargain and these two Welsummer were in there. One is definitely a roo with some beautiful coloring coming in on his feathers and a large comb and wattles coming in. The other one has a much smaller and paler comb. Could it possibly be a hen??

One is male, and notice a dark chest, and even red coming at the bows.

The other is female, and notice a salmon colored chest, along with smaller comb.

While Welsummers are not sexable at hatch, they are sexable as males and females have different adult patterns.

Thank you! I thought so too and have been wondering for awhile. Now the differences are much more prominent to me. I will be so excited if I have one of each!

What age are those? Definitely 1 and 1.

I have three that will be 6 weeks this coming Monday. I was convinced for the longest time that one was a cockerel (much larger comb very early on, a bigger bird all together, more alert, and more adventurous), but here we are at almost 6 weeks and still a salmon chest, no additional pink in the comb. Looks like I might have gotten lucky!

These will be 7weeks this Monday! I thought the one with the larger comb was potentially my roo. But it has the lighter colored chest. So, is the one with the smaller comb and black chest the roo??
