Welsummer Cockerels, Breeder Quality ((GONE)) N. GA

They are very handsome. I just noticed that they are starting to get the shiny blue-green feathers in the saddle area now, some of them anyway. There is a picture of one under Raising Chicks with the thread starting, "Dutch..". Here's one.

DH decided not to keep a cockerel...and the guy who is was supposed to be here between 10:30 and 11 a.m. is still not here. Grrr. Guess they go to the auction, but it's more in gas than I'd make on the birds since it's an hour away or more. Double Grrrr.

ARGH! *searching for pulling hair out emoticon*

hey Cyn send me your address so i can yahoo you and see exactly where and how far away you are please. might as well include fone number too.

also, which direction an hour away is that sale?

*good beefy takes keyboard away from evil beefy, slaps his fingers with a ruler, and screams "You don't need NO MO chickens!"*

I can attest to the handsomeness and general fineness of these fine boys. It was great to meet you today, Cyn!

I will be getting a pair or trio of Welsummers, and hopefully one or two RIR pullets if I'm lucky.

I didn't pick up any birds today, but I had to drive down to that area today anyway so I took the opportunity to go meet Cyn and the chicks. Oh, and I also had the honor of meeting the fabled Zane and Suede in person!
