Welsummer cross, cockrel or pullet?

Hello and
welcome-byc.gif
, from Arkansas.

That could vwery well be a Welsummer crossbred, but unless you know the parents you can never really be sure.

My philosyphy ( that my spelling and I'm sticking to it) is whatever the cross or breed of chicken, just be able to enjoy it. On that note though, I've got some Cochins that I'm gonna try to sell because some bantams got sixed in somewhere along the way and some are frizzled and I don't like frizzles.

Haha draye - I am terrible at spelling - creativity is important and as long as the meaning isn't lost I say go with it!!

Thanks for the warm welcome :) I am going to be happy with whatever birds I end up with (even if it does look a little odd). I may have a Welsummer cockerel judging by some helpful comments I got on here yesterday (https://www.backyardchickens.com/gallery/image/view/album/6220962/id/5151266/sort/display_order). I will love him anyway I'm sure. Such a sucker for silly critters.

Looked like a Silver Duckwing coloring crossed over with a Welsummer. Its a pullet.

However the two pictures of the brown chicks are Welsummer roosters.

Thanks EweSheep - yeah we had our suspicions about the rooster. He will be well loved, but I have a lot of learning to do!!

I came to the same conclusion about the Duckwing, but also thought that it had the look of a Dorking. She is kind of funny looking, but a charming little critter nonetheless :)
