I have been told by breeders that tails are supposed to be long and tapered even in females (like these two hens), not a fan like those have

This is a hatchery though.
They have quite noticeable tails.
I wouldn't expect them to be as magnificent as Phoenix from a breeder.

It's the skin colour that disagrees with me.
