Welsummer Question!

Hello Everyone!
I have bred 3 very nice Welsummer cockerels this year and I was wondering about the nail's I have chose my favroite which I hope to show next year he has black nails & the rest have white what color were the nails meant to be!

On the standard it says yellow legs and feet, black toes. It doesn't say anything about nails. Maybe that's what they mean are toes?

Welsummer legs, feet and toes are to be yellow. The U.S. Standard does not mention anything about the color of toenails, but I have been breeding Wellies for 4 years and all of my birds have toenails the same color as the toes, feet and legs. I have never seen Wellies with black toenails.

Toenail color is not mentioned in the UK standard either.
