Orp is male. It’s got saddles.

I don’t see any obvious saddles on the Sussex but that comb is very big and red fro only 12 weeks.

I think the Sussex is a hen, but I could be wrong. It has a hen-ish looking face

Well no, considering pullets don't have saddle feathers it's quite clear the orp is a boy

I think the sussex is male. Even with no obvious saddles, thecomb growth and color at that age indicates cockerel.

True, the comb is quite big and red. After you pointed that out I went back and checked the photo out. I would have to agree, they are probably both cockerels

Hackle pattern is looking more male like imo also.
