This is, in all honesty, the first thread I have ever read for the entirety with my mouth agape.

one...
hundred....
sixty-...
six...
chicks

I'm 33 and I don't know if I could even count that high.

Although, when I think about how much chicken we eat over the winter, maybe we should get a few meat birds (ha... look where I live... fat chance).

166, heavens sake!

Oh, how I wish I lived on a farm in Northern Wisconsin.

So they are going to free range now.

What are they going to do when its 22 below there?

Holy crow. All I can say is that's quite the summer project. Good for you! But, I can't imagine the dust. No that's not true, I can imagine all the dust I just don't want too. Here's what I got with 98 chicks...

"You don't buy the feed ? Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh K"

She's 12. Heck I had two horses at age 13 and didnt have to pay for a thing until I was in high school and working every day after school. And even then it was limited to half the costs of keeping them in the back yard.
jealousy does not become you.

WC Congrats on your new brood! I have 6 and am thinking about getting just one more. I heard another name I want to use

If you love them and the "work" then it isnt "work, it's fun. I love mucking my horses stall, even though he is a pig. It isnt work, even now at age 38 and my ankle, knee and heart not being as young. Keep it up kiddo!

All I can say is WOW! I'm still trying to get a hold of taking care of my 21 babies!!!

You're my hero!

I can't imagine the look on the Post offices face when those Peepers came in!
