went from no eggs to can't keep up

Do you have one of those machines my Aunt use to have one and made her own pasta
Yes, I have a regular pasta maker, not electric but it works well. The only cutting attachment I have does angel hair and fettucine. I do have an extruder that I'm looking forward to using to make ziti, elbow macaroni, and linguine. For regular pasta AP flour works well, however for the extruder you need to use semolina flours not always easy to find.

thanks! my girls are laying really good and that sounds like a great idea. I could roll it out, make raviolis and cut it with a pizza cutter and freeze too?
Yes. The nice thing about making your own ravioli is you know what is really inside those little pillows of yummy. I use anything from spinach, or butternut squash, or mushrooms and lobster even. Just google for recipes online. Plus this is a great way to use your own homegrown produce. My recipe states that the pasta is good for a month in the freezer. I've kept some longer, but a month is better. Good luck.

I just looked up extruders cause I didn't know what it was. They are expensive! So they are basically a pasta maker that has lots of attachments? Does yours fit on a Kitchen Aid mixer? I even saw one for $3100 but not for kitchen aid.

Actually I bought my extruder at Ocean State Job Lots several years ago for $10. Again. not electric but easy to turn the crank. I would check your local discount stores like Big Lots or Job Lots. And no, I don't have a KitchenAid mixer. I was going to buy one last year but discovered the Farberware mixer was $100 cheaper and had a stronger motor. I make a lot of bread and I wanted something powerful enough to handle heavy dough.

Wow, I just googled my extruder, and OMG did I get a real deal on mine. Like I said I got mine for $10 at a local discount store. They range from $99 to $299. You might find one on ebay. Try cruising the discount stores, you might get lucky. I certainly will take good care of my little bargain.
