I took mine out for some fun in the sun.

They really enjoyed scratching and pecking through the grass.

I don't have a weiner dog, but I do have a Cornish Rex cat who keeps the chickens in line.

So cute! Coops are fun to build! Im doing one with my dad and its fun, im not looking forward to clearing the space for the run/s however.

We got our second set of 16 babies last Saturday, so I'm assuming they are right around a week to 10 days. They went outside for the first time yesterday. I was a little nervous because it was only around 70 degrees and a bit breezy. They seemed to have no problem staying out there two hours picking at the dirt and chasing the ones that had the longest blade of grass. We also brought out the Mt. Dew chicken hospital for the chick that I thought was a goner yesterday...seems the sun is a wonderful medicine and she went from falling over backwards and panting to running around with the other chicks in about ten minutes and has been perfectly fine ever since
