Just an update. The baby is doing wonderfully! It is eating chick starter and drinking and snuggling with it's "lovey" a little washcloth made into a bear. It is sooo sweet. The yolk did finish absorbing and it is enjoying it's very own brooder box! I will post more pics soon!

Okay, I FINALLY have the photos. It has been a crazy few days with my son so please forgive the lateness! I have pics of the baby inside the egg as well as the baby today! Here goes! Oh btw, I am not really sure what breed it is lol I got the momma from my uncle and the daddy is a game mix. Any guesses on that one? I am completely in love with the color. It is almost an auburn red with some brown. And I am thinking it is a roo, the comb is BIG already!!
