WE'RE 8 WEEKS OLD...WHAT ARE WE? *PIC HEAVY*

Wyandottes are supposed to have yellow feet and shanks. If you look closely in the last picture at the toe or two you can see they aren't yellow. They are very dark. Maybe slate?

The first birds aren't RIR, they are way too light, even for hatchery stock, plus in picture 4, you can see the white in the hackle feathers. My bet is that they are red sexlinks. The last one is an EE.

RIR are much darker than the top ones. I would say golden commets. both are great layers and will give you a lot of eggs. Mine even lay in the winter when others aren't laying.

some of those look like roosters so they wouldnt be red sexlinks or any of the other names they are called they would be white,id say RIR and the white feathers are just the down they havent gotten rid of yet
pics 1,2 and 4 are definitely roos pic 3 looks like pullets cant really tell about pic five

I'm going to try to take some better close ups of each. I wouldn't mind if I ended up with one roo, but 2 or 3!!!! I'd definately have to find good homes for the extra roos. The ratio of hens to roos would be way off and my neighbors would surely complain about the extra crowing. Especially one lady up the road from me...she complains about everything. She walks around with a video camera when she walks her dog so she can record anyone she thinks speeding or has their music playing to loud for her and then goes home and calls the police!!
