I finally get to post here with a incubatin' thread title!!! I started my first attempt on saturday night....Today is day 3!!!! I candled today, cause I'm impatient, and sure enough the eggs are veining. At least the 6 lighter colored ones are, not sure about the darker ones. I'm so excited! My temps were off by about 1 degree for the first day and a half, didn't seem like I could get them up. I didn't open the bator till after at least 24 hours, then I adjusted little by little. Right now it's between 99.3 and 99.7, and hopefully it'll stay there. Anyways, everyone start counting down the days for me, and wish me luck!!!

Hmm, well, overnight my temps spiked to 100.2, which makes no sense. It held at 99.3-99.5 for like two days, and now it's up with no adjustment whatsoever. Darn thing. Anyways, I'm working right now so I'll post later....I need some good TEMP vibes!!! LOL!!!

I'm on day 4 at the moment and it's looking quite good! I set 3 eggs in my incubator, as that's all it takes and 1 contains an embryo and another could but it;s too difficult to tell, the other has large pores so I don't know what to do with it. Good luck! One chick would be nice, 2 would be great!!

Its day 4 for me but Im using a brody. i havent candled or anything yet. This is also my first time.

It's day 6, and I have jumping eyes!!! LOL!!!! It's so cool candling and seeing them move around....I set 14 eggs, and only 3 of them are too dark for me to see through. All the rest are viable and moving around, even my tiny SF eggs. I'm so excited!!! I don't think the kids are even as into it as me, and hubby doesn't care at all. I think it's awesome, I don't have to look at other people's pics I can see for myself!!!

Our broody is setting three eggs, and I candled them today. The entire shell is dark, no light gets through at all. She's a new broody and steals everyone's eggs, so every now and then one of the three she's setting will get halfway left out and cool down, but it's still developing. I don't know when her hatch day is, she went broody without my knowledge, but let's hope we get at least one from her!!!

Candled again tonight, and boy am I excited!!!! All 13 of my eggies have little chick bodies inside, I'm so happy!!!!! Anyone else wanna join in the excitement???? It's day 12, only 6 days left till day 18!!!!!

DAY 14!!! All of them are still alive and kickin in their little eggies!!! I'm worried about the SF/silver phoenix/ameraucana (cause these eggs could belong to any of those three) cause they're mixed with standard size and those eggs are pretty tiny!!! They're still alive, though....It's almost time to freak out and bite my nails!!!!
