West Virginia anyone?

No problem. I have plenty with a batch of BCM and silkies due to hatch next week. The newest ones are 4 days old and they are from a sex link roo and a sex link hen but I also have the EE Cochins if you would rather have one or 2 of those. They are 7 days old. Depending on what time you come down this way, I could meet you somewhere. I think the Wallback exit is actually about 10 miles closer to you and I am in the middle between Wallback and Amma. Let me know if you want some pictures

Hey I will always look at pics of cute baby chicks. lol I really don't care which ones, but I do have some cochins. Mine are bantam. But like I said, I don't care. I just want him to have afriend!! I've actually been wanting to find a couple silkies FOREVER! Maybe I can bring this chick to work with me until next week?? LOL It will most likely be weekend before I get out that way anyway. But I am happy to take whatever you are willing to part with! But if you would consider a silkie or a BCM, let me know. :)

They silkies and BCM won't hatch for another week. The BCM might be BCM or OE. not sure as they came from a swap and she wasn't sure if her BCM roo was old enough to do the job, so to speak. I only had 4 silkie eggs and only one made it to lockdown but just added another 7 BBS, Buff and partridge silkie eggs 3 days ago. I havent candled those yet. I try to wait until day 7. Depending on how many develop, I will share. It will be another 20 days tho. lol

lol, well like I said I don't mind. Silkies have just been on my wishlist for awhile, but I can wait to spring...if I have to! haha! I sound like my kids waiting on Christmas! I can wait a week, but 20 days would probably defeat my purpose! LOL So it's up to you. Also, I'm not even sure if I will make it down there yet! hah! I'm thinking it's about an hour to your area. Not too bad, but too much of a drive to make on a school night. lol

Hello fellow West Virginians ! I live in Hurricane, WV, and I am trying to find out if it is legal to have 7 or so chickens in my backyard. Don't want to start if I can be shut down... Can anyone tell me how to find this info out.
Blessings everyone!

Hi! Morgantown here! Not much of a "chicken community" in town yet, but I know there's a lot of us! A group on FB has been started with the hopes of connecting us all

All suggestions welcome!

Thanks for the info! I'm a Fairmont girl but would love to join if that's ok!

Also for all of the wonderful WV chicken owners, I am looking for silkies, cochins, frizzles, polish and phoenix chickens. They can be chicks or any age chicken. Looking to expand my flock. I live in the Fairmont area. I currently have a flock of 44 which includes 2 young white silkies, 2 frizzles and 1 cochin. Not lucky enough to find any polish or phoenix locally yet and haven't taken the plunge to make a big order online. Let me know if you know of any! Thanks!! :)
