Western Kentucky Coops - Winter Issues?!?!?!?

We have yet to insulate our coop in any way since we built it in the Summer...Besides the crazy ice storm last year and the 2 days of 10" snow, it's been what I would call mild here...

We raise Silkies and want to know if thick insulation is needed inside or would wrapping the outside with siding be enough?...Right now it's all 1/2 wood, 4'x8' and will have 6 chickens in there by Winter...

Nice house! Stack up straw bales around the sides and cover it with tarps for the winter and you should do fine!
