Naw, just pulling your chains Yeah, shawn got a fresh piggie pie While the runt was being friendly on his shoulder. Then had the runt slaped him as he flew off his shoulder, now we know why he was being friendly. Nothing like a wake-up slap from a runt!. Or is that having the "statue in the park feeling" while in a pigeon loft.

You really missed some stunning birds. I got a beautiful pair of Indian Fan Tails from friend of mine also. beautiful big fans, but i mashed one birds feathers almost to ratty tatted. poor baby.
There were some nice swifts and homers.
You will have to plan on coming down in Sept when they start back up again.
Its always a great time getting together with good friends and making new good friends.

Gypsy, those pigeons are very pretty, i was looking on line before to check out some, and i remember seeing a pic like those, but when i went to go look again to see what they are called i cant find them.

The show in oxford mass, some one was selling a pair of fantail pigeon, so beautiful i almost bought them, they were cheep $30.00 for the pair.

After doing some digging the Satinettes are called Frills also I think that is the UK classification of them.
they are very pretty and sweet birds thats for sure.
I have the satinettes in the house and the Male just started his cooing, way different in tone and pitch than my other pigeons. very sweet and low toned. not at all annoying like some and not as loud as ring neck doves can be.
