Hi,
I am new to quail (I had some bobwhites hatch a few weeks ago and had issues with them but the red bulb fixed that).
Now I have about 60 coturnix that hatched over the weekend. So far I have lost 10 of them, all of which seemed healthy from the start. No picking, no blood or anything.
I added Nutridrench to their water. I have their starter crumbles spread out on the bottom of their brooder as well as some second crop hay sprinkled down to keep them "busy".
Now I have one that is getting weak and has a wet/poopy bottom. Here is a picture.
Any suggestions for that as well as the random deaths? It's been 1-4 deaths each day since they hatched on Saturday.
Thanks
