Oh, I didn't know you could use the tail for sexing! How does it work?

In most instances it does not.

Now what makes you say that? What do you see different than the others?

Looking at the same color chickens the two grey look at the tail feathers and the shape of them there feet and legs this one has a bushy long wide tail while the other one is slim and short

That is absolutely a female. Her tail feathers are just a little scruffy.

I beg to differ the long feathers that are streaming beside the tail feathers from the back and the comb and waddles are 2x the size of the others

There are occasion of a chicken being a hermaphrodite, usually a hen would exhibit that instance.

Thank you! I have a lot of roosters so tails are a big give away for me. Also addition, usually if you have any other color bird other than black, the rooster tail will be black/green and usually not the same color as the body. Again there are exceptions to this too (sebright again).
