Anyways i have 8 cats, and even i still sometimes get mice in the house( mostly in winter/fall).. And then i have to bring out the traps..
Soo..if my 8 cats wont keep them away... those 2 kittens wont do a thing.
Ya gotta bring out the big guns... traps/ or the bucket thingie...

I'm gonna try the bucket tonight. I know we have at least 1 5 gallon bucket.

I'm going to try it too this winter..

OOOH, good inexpensive idea! I think I'll try that in my garage, where I occasionally see mice.....

I would need a lot of 5 gallon buckets. Last night no mouse sounds, and very little waste on the counters this morning. Go figure. It cannot have happened that fast.

I hope your mouse problem continues to go away.

Goodness after reading about all these cats here that don't hunt makes me think I should quit having evil thoughts about Jonny Cat. He's a hunting machine.

I agree. I'd try the buckets...because I'm sure you still have a very large infestation.

Oh stop! You are not an animal hoarder at all. I know for a fact that you give your animals a great life and always put their needs before your own.

Our older cat Kitty once lived for 11 days when she was accidently locked in an outbuilding. She barely lost an ounce. She obviously lived on what rodents she could catch in the building and drank condensation off the well pipes. She was a killing machine when she was a barn cat.

Now that she is exclusively an indoor cat she's almost too lazy to walk to her food dish.

One of our cats disappeared for a couple weeks. We lived in the city, but in a nasty part of town, so we figured he died somewhere since people didnt take cats in there. We were pretty bummed, but then he showed back up. He WAS very skinny and obviously upset. We now think he somehow got locked in a garage and left there. He recovered okay but he's a much snugglier cat then he was when he left.

I had a cat once disappear for 9 months. I was shocked as can be when I opened by door to the sound of a meow and saw her there. She stayed with me til my son was born then packed her bags and moved in with my grandmother two doors down.

I'm late on this, but those two are adorable. We have a pair of litter mates about 3yrs old.

The little boy is most cuddly orange tabby I've ever met. The girl calico hates adults and thinks we are always half a step away from serving her for dinner and steers clear of us except while we sleep - she uses us as a heat source.

They are both excellent mousers and snake hunters, and don't let them even see a deadly moth in our house! They still curl up and groom each other many nights, really cute. I love your little ones. Hope they work out for you.
