What’s the next big thing after the Orpington craze?

I hope LF cochins are a craze I love them and I'm planning on getting some! I think Lav LF Ameraucanas are way more popular than Lav Bantam Ameraucanas. I think its because they are newer

I have 15 Lavender Bantam AM eggs in my 'bator, I bought them because I love the bantam variety's. But I wanted to try both.

I hope it's Dorkings as well. It's just what the breed needs!

Lots of good Dorkings where I live. I saw a beautiful Trio at the Chicken Swap last Sunday......$65 nobody bought them. I would have but I already have those lines.
picking up SGD hatching eggs next weekend.........$18 dozen

I have been wanting Dorkings since I got into chickens. I REALLY want the colored, and then the silver grey.

BlackBart --- I wish it was that easy here!!

tazcat --- We have Red, but want to add white & cuckoo. I might as well be looking for pterydactyls!

I think Polish might be the next craze, they are so funny and make me laugh every time I look at them! The eggs they lay are pretty big for the size of the bird too. I have had a lot more people buying them than I expected. I am surprised no one has been Interested in the cochins around here. Of course,Brahmas are terrific too...

i want to do choc slates and blue slates

The American Poultry Association currently recognizes the following varieties of Turkeys: Black - Bourbon Red - Slate (Blue Slate) - Narragansett - White Holland - Bronze -
Beltsville White - Royal Palm.

The ETF is hoping more colors are admitted soon. First we need to get the numbers up at the shows. We have a thread on the Turkey Forum on Turkey Standards. Trying to get ideas for standards on the non-recognized varieties. https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=468675

Be
nice to get both the Chocolate and Chocolate Slates recognised at the same time!
